10 Places in Bangkok you should not miss!!


Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand. The traveler come Bangkok like the transit city they never think to investigate this city. They are interested the crystal sea and white beach in the south and jungle life in the north. Comes and look around the 10 places in Bangkok  with me….

The first place where I proud to recommend you is The grand palace. The grand palace is like the landmark of Bangkok, Thailand. It is situated the government offices and the Chapel Royal of the Emerald Buddha beside the royal residences. Before we talk about the royal residence we begin with The Chapel Royal of the Emerald Buddha. The assembly hall, or Ubosoth, serves as the monarch’s private chapel, monk do not live here. The Emerald Buddha is carved from a block of jade. It is an object of national veneration and crowds come to pay respect to the Buddha on certain days when it is open to the public.





The Grand Palace consists many buildings. The Phra Maha Monthian, Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, The Dusit Maha Prasat Hall, Borom Phiman Mansion and  Amarin Winitchai Hall.

Chakri Maha Prasat was built and resides in by King Chulalngkorn, Rama V. Only reception portion is now used for various purpose and formerly for the reception of foreign envoys on the occasions of the presentation of their credentials

The Dusit Maha Prasart Hall is an audience hall with a throne of mother-of-pearl surmounted by the usual nine-tiered white canopy, the mark of a duly crowned king.


Borom Phiman Mansion was built in the western style in 1903 by King Rama V for the Heir Apparent, the future King Rava VI. At present the Borom Phiman Mansion serves as the Royal Guest House for visiting Heads of State and guests of Their Majesties.


Amarin Winitchai Hall or Throne Hall

When you plan to visit the Grand Palace in Bangkok you have to know these rules of visitor.

1. Shorts, mini-skirts, short skirts, tight fitting trousers, as well as tights can not be worn as outer garments.
2. See-through shirts and blouses, as well as culotters or quarter length trousers can not be worn.
3. Sleeveless shirts or vests can not be worn as outer garments.
4. Sandles (without ankle or heel straps) can not be worn.
5. All shirt sleeves, whether long or short, can not be rolled up.
6. Sweat shirts and sweat pants, wind-cheaters, pajamas and fisherman trousers can not be worn.
